The district nursing team consists of sisters, staff nurses and enrolled and auxiliary nurses. The nurses are based in a Local Central Hub.
Their duties include visiting patients of any age in their homes, giving practical assistance or offering professional advice. Each patient’s needs are assessed and the care and treatment is planned accordingly. District nursing sisters are experienced registered general nurses with a certificate or diploma in district nursing.

The health visitors Debbie Richards and Sian Hughes are specially qualified nurses who can provide information, advice and support to families with children. It is part of their role to visit children under five and they are available in the surgery at their regular baby clinic.

The midwife holds ante natal clinic at the surgery in Norton on Tuesday's between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
The practice has access to a team of physiotherapists who can provide early advice and management for people with back/neck/joint problems or muscle and soft tissue injuries.

Reem El-Sharkawi is the BayHealth Cluster pharmacist and assists the GP's to undertake medication reviews.
The Chronic Conditions Nurse supports patients with long term medical conditions, enabling patients to optimise their self-management skills
The Mental Health Liason Nurse provides help in the form of coping strategies to patients suffering from stress, depression etc.
